Just a 17-minute walk away is Rastoke on the Slunjčica river, which flows into the Korana river, creating beautiful waterfalls, rapids, and small lakes in travertine rocks.
RAISING COMFORT TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL
Welcome to Rastoke
The resulting water power was used by mills not only for grinding grain but also for washing clothes. Although the first records date from the 17th century, Rastoke probably existed even earlier, and due to the historical tradition of natural beauty and architectural heritage, in 1969 they were included in the Register of Immovable Cultural Monuments in Zagreb.
